  Home appreciation in Hays was 34.27% in the last decade. Located at the intersection of Interstate 70 and US Highway 183, it has about 20,000 residents. Hays is peaceful, with a reputable school system and an excellent selection of homes. In short, it’s a huge draw for couples and those raising a family. The majority of residences were constructed during the 1980s and 1990s. Most single-family properties offer plenty of living space, with 3 to 5 bedrooms.   Best known as the hometown of automobile giant Walter P. Chrysler, Ellis has a population of around 2,000. Home appreciation over the last 10 years was 24.16%, making it a great place to invest. Located along I-70, its housing market consists mainly of single-family homes. The average home has 3 to 5 bedrooms – enough to accommodate a growing family. It’s also common for homes to have patios, decks, and oversized garages. The most coveted Ellis KS real estate are homes situated on sprawling lots with mature vegetation.   Named for Britain’s Queen Victoria, this thriving city located just south of I-170 has a population of around 1,300.
